And how you can give yourself the same chance at success…
“What we did has actually never been done before.”
That’s what our precision oncology specialist, Alex Rolland, says about Gail’s incredible journey from stage 4 cancer to remission in less than 3 months.
He goes on to share:
“Our team was able to amaze oncologists at some of the top Canadian and American cancer centers by using the most thorough molecular testing possible today and personalized analysis which gave us the information we needed to identify and access a unique life-saving treatment for Gail!”
We also helped Gail to access the treatment for a fraction of what it would have cost her at her local pharmacy.
In this very special video, we speak with cancer survivor and advocate, Gail Baron Simpson, about her personal journey to treatment success.
How does this relate to your cancer care?
This is, of course, a very exciting outcome for Gail.
But you might be asking yourself, rightly…
“What does this have to do with me?”
The reason I’m sharing this with you is because I want you to know that the outcome of Gail’s personalized oncogenomics program is not unique.
Gail’s success is NOT specific to her type of cancer or her unique situation.
This type of treatment success is rapidly becoming the norm – even for very late stage patients and even for those with little-known or rare/orphan cancers – when patients apply comprehensive molecular testing, and analysis thereof, to access the most beneficial treatments that medical science has to offer for their cancer’s specific molecular features.
And this is exactly what Alex and his team of specialists excel at!
So watch Gail’s story and if you’d like to experience a similar outcome, give us a call. We are here to help.
How Gail beat stage 4 cancer
Gail’s story of perseverance and precision cancer medicine
After being diagnosed with a rare orphan cancer, Gail discusses her experience with navigating the challenges of standard healthcare and her decision to hire our team to help integrate Precision Cancer Medicine into her cancer care – and how she was able to advocate for the right treatment and eventually find success.
Alex Rolland also shares the groundbreaking work that he and his team did to help Gail beat her rare form of cancer.

Key takeaways from Gail’s story
1. Gail had a rare germ-cell ovarian cancer, known to have no real treatments beyond surgery – based on the standard diagnostics and treatments offered through standard cancer care.
2. She had no further treatments offered to her through standard care and was declared palliative. But then she reached out to us…and our team was able to find the problem AND the solution through our comprehensive molecular testing program! (I.e. testing every gene in her body!)
3. Additionally, our Patient Navigator Team was able to access the newly prescribed drugs at just 10% of the cost of Gail’s local pharmacy.
4. And, because of the thorough testing that Alex’s team provided, we found numerous additional treatment options for her. This means that if this treatment stops working or if her cancer recurs at any point, we will be immediately ready to go with numerous options – including new ADCs (Antibody Drug Conjugates) and targeted treatments (highly effective with minimal side-effects).
Reaction from Gail’s doctor at the Mayo Clinic?
Gail’s Canadian oncologist, as well as her doctor at the Mayo Clinic in the USA, were out of options for her (before she came to us) but her doctors are now thrilled – and, frankly, amazed that this has worked!
Better yet, these doctors are now aware that more options exist than they had previously known about…which will benefit every patient that comes into their care after Gail.
And this is the ultimate real win-win for all.
So, to sum this all up…
Gail’s story is a wonderful example of what is truly possible when you do not settle for standard of care diagnostics and you learn to advocate for better care. Even when you’re dealing with stage 4 cancer and/or a rare cancer.
Gail is truly a role model and an inspiration when it comes to self-advocacy and the effort she has put into fighting for her health.
