There’s a lot of misinformation out there on whether herbs can help with cancer prevention.

Maybe you’ve already Googled it and found 20 different answers…

Or maybe you’re just going with what your friend or naturopath suggested…

But today I want to take a moment to dig into the science behind this topic!

Are there really herbs and supplements that could help prevent cancer?

And, if so, which ones and how much should you be taking?

CTOAM co-founder and Director of Scientific Research, Alex Rolland, has had so many people ask him this question that he decided to make this video to help:

Can Certain Herbs Help Prevent Cancer?

As with everything cancer-related, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer!

(Do you see a theme here? What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another – and it always, always, always comes down to the person’s specific genetic makeup.)

But Alex does say, straight off the bat:

“There are lots of plant phytochemicals that can have a specific role in reducing certain cancer-causing pathways.”

So let’s be clear: you’re not going to find a magic herb or supplement that’s going to, on its own, just stop cancer…

Because cancer, as infuriating as it is, is frustratingly smart and complex.

However, what plant phytochemicals can do is have an impact on reducing the growth of that cancer.

Plus, reducing that cancer’s ability to metastasize.

Sounds pretty promising, right?

Herbs that Help to Reduce Cancer Growth

There are certain plant phytochemicals that are scientifically proven to do this, including:

  • Curcumin
  • Turmeric
  • Quercetin
  • Resveratrol
  • ECGC (found in certain green teas)

In the video, Alex also shares a surprising story about a patient he worked with a few years ago, and the impact that drinking green tea potentially had on the patient’s unexpected remission.

The point?

You canNOT underestimate the impact of lifestyle changes.

Simple lifestyle changes can absolutely make a massive difference to your success in preventing, treating, and beating cancer.

We’ve noticed this is something that standard care seems to miss…

Our team often hears clients say that they weren’t given any guidance on nutrition and exercise from their public oncologist or cancer agency.
